Hello all, My name is Laura Boynton, and I am currently working on my master's degree in Information Studies through Florida State University. I am concentrating on the Information Needs of Youth. For one of my classes, I must research multimedia in school libraries. Below are a few questions. Any hep you all can give would be much appreciated! 1) What types of multimedia production software and hardware do you typically use in the media center? 2) What are the expected trends for multimedia in the future? 3) What media/technology advice would you give those entering the media specialist field? What kinds of professional development would you recommend? 4) Based on your opinion and experience in the field, what are the effects of using multimedia with students? Thanks, Laura Boynton, Grad Student, FSU Atlanta, GA LauraB3@gmail.com -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
