Dear LM_Netters,
A couple of days ago, I posted a need for postcards on behalf of a 4th grader. She
is very excited about being the first student in her class' history to be able to
complete the assignment. Apparently, no one has been able to collect 50 postcards
that have been postmarked in the State of origin since the project was started a
couple of years ago in her school.
I would like to thank all of the members in this listserv for being so supportive
and gracious to Brittany (the 4th grader) in helping her accomplish this goal. I
will not be possible without you. Once again, librarians are the heores of the day!
If you know of someone that lives in the following States that would like to send
Brittany a postcard, please contact me off list. Brittany is still in need of
postcards for the following States: Georgia, Idaho, Louisiana, Maryland,
Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, South Dakota, Oklahoma,
South Carolina, and Tennessee.
