On my home computer (running Windows XP), I have been using AVG free anti-virus program for over a year and have been extremely satisfied. However, in the last month or so, weird things have been happening. I have a dial-up connection on this computer. Every so often, AVG starts dialing! (I guess to update) I can be talking to someone on the phone, or just sitting and working on a document and I hear the "lovely" tones of the phone dialing a number I have not changed anything on my computer or AVG settings. I can't figure out what to do to stop this from happening. Can anyone out there help?
