I am working on a report on graphic novels for my school library class and wanted to see if any of you would be willing to share your recommendations and observations about graphic novels as part of a high school library collection. I am interested in any general comments you may have as well as answers to the questions below: What type of selection criteria do you use? What specific titles would you suggest for starting a graphic novel collection? Are they largely being used for pleasure reading or are teachers using them in classroom as well (particularly graphic nonfiction)? Thank you in advance for your assistance.
