Doug posted about this book at the end of summer and I hopped right to it
and bought a copy, then headed out on my fall speaking and haven't had a
chance to read it yet. Argh.

On the one hand, I'm glad that I have a mind that will fill the needs of
the workplace and the world in the future. On the other hand, I can't help
but be snide in wondering how all of this TESTING we are doing (which is
driving teachers to drill and kill and emphasize declarative knowledge over
process and complex thinking) is going to prepare our KIDS for the future
world Pink describes!

Honestly, sometimes I think that LMS's are the only hope! I want to
encourage all of us to continue to embed complex thinking and the 6 "high
touch" aptitudes into our collaborative work with teachers! Shine the light!

Happy feasting to all my U.S. colleagues.

Best,
Toni
