Today, my library clerk and I had the joy of having some 1st graders in the
library. They came in small groups, returned their library books and went
to get different books. We discovered a classroom book in the midst of the
library books and one little girl offered to take it back to class with her.
In the meantime, a little boy with dark red hair came back and wanted to
check out a book. Our system showed that he still had one out. He insisted
that he had brought a book back. Kristal told him about the classroom book
that had been brought in and could he go back to the classroom and check to
see if his library book was still in there. He came back with a rather
sheepish look on his face and said, "Sometimes I have trouble with my
remembery."
Anybody want to give this little one a hug? 8--)
