Well, I am lucky enough to be retiring soon and will be volunteering to archive the photos, programs, etc., for a local community theater company. Does anyone know of a good, basic guide to doing this? It's certainly related to what I do now and I'm excited about taking on this project, but I don't have any training? I've found some information on the web, but it's either too basic or too technical. A ProQuest search came up with electronic archives even when I excluded words like "data" and "electronic" from the search. I'd like to know if there's inexpensive software I could use -- I surely don't want to reinvent the wheel! Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
