[LM_NET] ELEM: Seeking lesson plan ideas

Hi everyone,

I just switched from 6-12 to K-6 and am quite overwhelmed!  It's a  
big enough switch but in the "middle" of the school year? WOW!

I am looking for lesson plan ideas for K & 1. I feel pretty good  
about 2-6 but what kind of topics do you cover with the little ones  
and how do you spend the 40 minutes?  I figure if I have more than  
what I need as possible parts to the lesson then I won't run into  
having too much time!

Also, I tried teaching on Hanukkah today to Kindergarten but found  
them confused... needless to say tomorrow I'll be teaching it  
differently and esp. with a different book.
