[LM_NET] ipods in school libraries

I applied for a grant to purchase ipods for my library and I got the grant!
Yeah.  But now the nitty gritty part comes.  In the past, I have not worried
about having a contract with the students who borrowed casette players or cd
players since these were rather inexpensive.  But the ipods are a bit
pricey.  Does anyone have a contract that they make the users sign to borrow
a book on ipod?  Do the parents have to sign as well?  What do you do if the
ipod doesn't come back or is damaged?

Any insights to this are most appreciated.
