[LM_NET] MID: Books like Iqbal, The breadwinner

The sixth grade teachers in my building would like some 
newer titles that may be available in paperback like The 
Breadwinner that give a global perspective.   I 
recommended Iqbal, Parvana's Journey, and The shadows of 
Ghadames.  Please let me know if there are any other 
ritles that you would recommend as a classroom novel.  TIA
