A case could easily be made that the patron is inaccurately assessing
the disputed material and making an unreasonable request. If you look at
Newsweek as a whole, as we would look at any material with an eye for
reconsideration, it is an award-winning, generally accepted for quality
and accuracy and balance, publication. Time magazine would be a much
closer equivalent.

Note that NW is in subscription DBs, while the Limbaugh publication
isn't. And reviews might be hard to come by, so requesting a sample
issue wouldn't be an inappropriate request before making a purchasing
decision. That there is little comment anywhere about LL probably
indicates the value that is placed on its writing. Perhaps something
like Weekly Standard or National Review would be a better addition.

Perhaps something like Weekly Standard or National Review would be a
better addition. It would also be fair to include material from the
progressive side, Mother Jones, The Nation, The Progressive, Progressive
Populist, etc.

And, of course, make sure your admin supervisor and principal know
about the request for reconsideration and follow the reconsideration
policy your district has in place.
