I am currently looking for examples of "model" school library spaces (high school and middle school only). These may be new constructions, remodels, or simply spaces that have been "spruced up." Model sites should display at least two of the following characteristics: 1. Have been designed and decorated with assistance and input from students/teens; 2. Exhibit creative use of decorative and design elements (color, shelving/displays, lighting, flooring, comfortable furniture); 3. Show attention to layout, floor plan, and creative details related to service areas, computer labs, individual/group study areas, "lounging" areas, stacks, etc. 4. Illustrate interesting and creative treatment of collections and technology. Please get in touch with me directly by email or by phone no later than Oct. 14 if you have a space OR know of a school library that fits my description. Thanks in advance for your help. It is greatly appreciated.
