Does anyone have experience or advice about starting a Library Booster group for schools? We are a district with 3 elementaries, 1 middle, and 1 high school in an affluent, active community with much parental support but, like libraries everywhere, we are having difficulty keeping up with decreasing budgets and personnel. We wonder if a Library Booster group could help with raising funds and helping with activities like book fairs and clerical duties. If you have had experience, either negative or positive, please let me know. Thanks!
