>I have it, and the sequel Lion Chase.  I listened to it on tape over
the summer and found it very interesting.  It's about a boy whose
parents have found a cure for diabetes (I think) and get kidnapped by
a drug company that wants to prevent them from releasing the cure so
they can still make money on drugs.  The boy can communicate with
cats (because he gets scratched as a youngster) and uses his ability
to travel around and find his parents.  The end is not complete and
leads you right into book 2.  I believe a trilogy is planned.  I
didn't see anything objectionable for an elementary school.  IMHO.
