I have to respond to Barbra's comment: and then work with selected receptive teachers I think this is the key. In my initial collaborations, I approached teachers I thought would be receptive and presented ideas to them. I have also begun with statements like: Did you know that I can do such and so for you? Once you have some successes with the receptive teachers, the word spreads to others who may also want to collaborate.
