Group, We are trying to make sure every book in our library has a copyright date recorded in our system so we can get an average age of our collection. Which do we use? For example, the original copyright date of Of Mice and Men is 1937. Of course, there are reprintings....1981, 1984, etc. Are we to use the reprinting date? This would not make our average age so old. But is that how you do it? Sorry if this is a repeat question....could not find it in the archives and didn't learn it in Library School.
