Someone recently asked for recommendations for overhead projectors and vendors for them. I gave a recommendation, and mentioned that I was waiting for four projectors myself. Today, after checking that UPS had not yet delivered them, I called Southeastern Audiovisual to ask about my order. They put me on hold while they checked the status of my order. While I was waiting, I noticed that I had the original (signed) copy of the PO in my file, with no notation on it that it had been faxed or mailed. Usually I get back a copy with a note in the corner saying that it was faxed, mailed, or phoned in and a date. About that time SE AV came back on the line to say they could find no record of the order! Hmmm, could there be a connection? Even though Fordland isn't all that far from here, apparently they can't read out minds that far out. Oh well, I faxed it to them, and my projectors will be arriving next week. -- David Lininger, kb0zke, MS/HS librarian Hickory County R-1 Schools Urbana, MO 65767 417-993-4226 tss003 at tnp dot more dot net -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
