[LM_NET] Bruce Larkin books

My Superintendent sent me an email that said that Bruce Larkin was giving away some 
of his books for the k-2 levels if you applied for them. I am new to the elementary 
level and when I looked up the author on Amazon (I am at home and do not have 
access to any of my library materials), there was no children's author listed by 
that name.  The email also listed the name Larkin's Little Readers series.  I did 
find the Little Readers series on Amazon, but the authors were not Bruce Larkin. Is 
anyone familiar with this writer and is this worth pursuing?
