When I was in first grade, I'd read Little Women and just loved it. I still do. I read it over every year or two to this day. Well, I read Fahrenheit 451 in 3rd grade and got so scared they were going to burn my favorite book that I set myself the task of memorizing Little Women just in case (you know, I also wished that I could've married a man whose last name was Case so I could've name my son Justin and my daughter Inenee, but that's beside the point). My mother caught me and asked me what I was doing as I'd been reading the same page for a long time, so I told her and she took my Little Women book away from me. I also used to go around kneeling in people's flower gardens in the spring and talk to daffodils. They were such happy looking flowers--all bright yellow and nodding their little heads affirmatively in the spring breezes--that I was positive that if you whispered your cares and woes into one, God would make them go away. Yeah, I was a strange duck. (WAS???!!)
