I am trying to convert video images taken with a digital camera (with video recording capabilities) into AVI format and then insert them into a powerpoint presentation. These are digital videos taken with a Kodak Easy Share digital camera ---- students are talking and reading personal essays, but the clips are very short digital films. I'm not having any luck with the transfer of the video into the ppt (there are errors according to the PPT program). I realize that the videos must be compatible with my Windows operating system (Windows Media Player) in order for them to work in my PPT program, thus the reason for transferring the files from their original formats to an AVI format. Does anyone have any suggestions, better directions, or ideas that might help?
