I received only a few responses, but lots of requests for the same information. The Advocate seems to be the GLBT magazine of choice, though. One respondent pointed me to the July 2005 issue of School Library Journal (it was still sitting on my desk waiting to be read!), which suggests The Advocate as the best choice and Out (more celebrity-focused than newsy) as a second choice, if you can afford more than one.
