Sounds like foolishness and nonsense to me. You didn't tell us what the
titles were - and was the display balanced.
Might be better to lock them up -- might be ideas in there that could change
someone - and that is what "they" are afraid of.

I have just been told to remove some religious books that I have on
display because they violate the separation of church and state. I may,
however, have these books in the library, but to display them in any
manner is against the law. I am aware that the Bible may be taught in
public schools as literature, so why is it against the law to display
anything religious if I also have all kinds of books on display?
