Hi I am going to repost this because I did not get a response except from those that need the same info. I also received on good suggestion, but it wouldn't be a good fit. I need to teach a fabulous 4th grade 30 min. lesson for an interview. The class will be learning about colonization( New York), plants and animals, I could do something with genres. I need to introduce the topic, teach, have guided practice, independent practice, and closure. Then the children will have book exchange. Please help - I'm blanking out.
