[LM_NET] REF: Thomas Lynley Mystery Series

Dear LM_Netters,

Are any of you out there fans of Elizabeth George's Thomas Lynley Mystery series? A 
colleague has read them all and wants to recommend them to her daughter, but she 
thinks the order in which they were published (vols. 1-13) is not the logical order 
in which to read them, since certain characters appear in early novels but are then 
formally introduced in subsequent works. I've searched the Internet for a "proper 
reading order" list, but have only found the series list. Help! TIA.
