I apologize for any duplication. I also realize that
many school librarians won't be able to take time
during the day for this but if you have an hour and
access to a computer and phone, it's a great
opportunity. --

I Spy! -- a way to improve your preschool storytimes
and elementary programming with Jean Marzollo! Learn
from an early childhood educator and acclaimed author
and illustrator without leaving your computer. Raab
Associates Inc. is offering a unique opportunity for
librarians to learn how to select developmentally
appropriate materials, methods for incorporating math,
music, and art concepts from the I Spy series into
library programming, and tips for improving the
success of emergent readers. Author and illustrator
Jean Marzollo has written more than 100 books for
young children, along with books for parents and
teachers. Drawing on her education, including a
master's degree in education from Harvard University,
and her experience as a teacher and as editor for
Scholastic's kindergarten magazine, Let's Find Out,
Marzollo will help you have successful story programs.
