[LM_NET] Anyone know this book?

I had a teacher today ask for a book her son read when he was in 2nd or 3rd grade. 
It's about a family that buys a farm and the seller thinks they are taking them but 
after they plant the crops they grow so quickly they can pick the crop just as soon 
as they pick it so then the seller wants to buy it back..... she thinks it was Mr. 
Mc B or BB or something .............sound familiar to anyone?
