[LM_NET] Gen: MP3 hook up

My friend/music teacher has been asked by our principal to hook up an MP3 player to 
the sound system for a guest speaker. Neither of us has an MP3 player and have no 
clue how to do this. 
  If anyone has any fairly simple instructions to share or knows of a resource to 
direct me on how to do this, I would be very appreciative.
