Hello! I got some great ideas for hosting a library club-- I received requests for
a hit, so I am listing these in no particular order:

Members can: write book reviews and informal book discussions
Help design and create bulletin boards
Help give ideas for books to buy for the library
Orchestrate (with help) fundraising for the library
Organize book fairs
Help do read alouds or do "book buddies" at the PL
The typical help with library chores (shelving, stamping, shelf reading...)
Create a PPT on using the library for other students to view
Create a library blog -- which would be almost like having an electronic newsletter
Even creating a blog/newsletter containing info. on services the library has,
databases we subscribe to, etc.

I may still get more ideas - but these are the first and they are great!

A few were mine, and I just came up with one-- at the holidays, bring the group to
the local Barnes and Noble to giftwrap one night- many groups donate time to do so.

Thank you for your ideas!
