 Have you thought about the gift of time? 

 One of the more popular prizes at my school is lunch in the library with
brownies for dessert (I am the champion brownie maker).  Homework passes are
also very popular. 
My kids love parties - we have A Hot Cheetos in the Park - my favorite since
clean up is so easy, make your own ice cream sundae with bingo games,
decorate cookies party (a sticky mess but they love it) and a library sleep
over.  They don't cost a great deal of money and I'd rather spend my funds
on that sort of thing than on "junk"
