I am looking for a list of questions or levels of teacher technology competencies, so that I can create a survey to see how our teachers rate themselves in their ability to perform technology tasks. We plan to provide some technology instruction but I'm afraid "we" (the tech-related people) assume that our teachers can do more than they really can....so I'd like to ask them some questions before we determine what workshops to offer. If you have something like this already created or know of a great resource, I'd appreciate it. (I am planning to investigate---okay, I'm going to buy---Doug Johnson's book, "Indispensible Teacher's Guide to Computer Skills", so if that's the book with all the really great ideas....I'd love to know!) Please share...I'll post my survey for others to use / see once it's finished. We hope to do this within the next two weeks.
