Hello LM_Netters from around the world (non U.S.)!

It would be wonderful if you would share some holiday greetings from your
country with your LM_NET United States buddies! We don't hear often enough
from most of you!

Sometime during December, would you please post a greeting to LM_Net from
your library representing your country? Please tell us about some of your
country's traditional holiday celebrations (if not Christmas, perhaps your
country celebrates something else during the winter months?) - home
festivities, family traditions, activities in social settings (plays,
processions, etc.), and of course, special clothes, costumes or foods. Begin
with the traditional greetings from your country ("Merry Christmas" or
whatever, in your native language).

After that, you are welcome to share any special stories or activities you
are doing in your library. If you have a link to a special photo of your
site (or perhaps someone in ethnic costume, etc.), please include it so we
can "visit" you!

IMPORTANT! >>> Please mark the SUBJECT LINE with the prefix "GREETINGS from
. . ." (example: GREETINGS from the Netherlands! )

Remember, this is a request to non-U.S. countries. (If you are an American
stationed abroad, please share about your host country.)

Thank you for sharing your special traditions with all of us in the U.S.!
