I am mentoring a new aide who is in a small school with no prof. librarian. She has been here a week. It is a middle school and the Talented and Gifted program is here. I have given her some organizational ideas and will be modelling lessons she could use with the TAG groups. I have not been in a Middle library and would like to know what publication you would recommend for book reviews as she will have to do an order. Also, at the middle school and /or TAG level, are there any sites you would recommend for lesson ideas/ This is the only school with an aide at this level....the rest are in elementary schools that are small. She is really expected to do more than the others and is being given extra time to set up. Eventually this school will get a teacher/librarian but the budget is tight. Thank you for any s pecial insights you could provide.
