[LM_NET] Target: Video Editing

I have received a technology grant from a local foundation.  We 
desperately need more research stations but I also had a request from
two faculty members for a computer that could be used for video 
editing.  Thought this might a good idea for something more unique for
the library.  Will still have enough money for two additional computers 
for research.

Our idea--  Purchase an imac with a 20" screen with two GB of memory    
then purchase a digital camcorder   so students can do projects
with imovie
enough money for two standard imacs for research

Good use of the money?

Also had an e-machine donated by WalMart    Thinking could purchase 
cheaper version of Vegas for students who wanted to try video
editing with that software.

Other suggestions?
