Question for the collective genius. I often have put paperbacks or hardbacks I've purchased or won at conferences in my collection at school after reading them. That's a pretty acceptable practice, I'm sure. Now, I have a 40-45 minute commute one way, so I'm getting book download certificates for Christmas. My question is this: can I donate those downloaded eBooks to my collection as well? I figure I could transport them on my MP3 player to school and store them on a school computer or on my 200GB portable hard drive and load them on a student's MP3 player for checkout. I may even purchase some players for checkout as well. Does anyone see any pitfalls in this program and / or has anyone tried this at your library? -- Shannon D.
