Yesterday, one of my Title I student took a reading counts test on Lord of
the Rings and got 74 points. Because the lexile level was so much higher
than the lexile level that he reads on, I suspected that he had not read the
book, and had only seen the video. He admitted to not reading the book and
watching the video.

Does anyone have a list of books that have been made into videos? I know
there is Nardia, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, some of the Snicket books,
and I am not certain which others. If anyone has such a list, I would
appreciate having a copy. Thank you.
