If you check iTunes, you'll see a list of the latest movies that are also books. They also have movie trailers if you want to showcase a book (or at least make teachers and students aware that you know that the movie is being made or is available.) The site is: http://www.apple.com/trailers/ What I've compiled for my wiki are the following movie / books: Charlotte's Web StormBreaker (Anthony Horowitz) Eragon Flicka Lassie Chronicles of Narnia How to Eat Fried Worms I Am David Hoot Because of Winn Dixie Holes Upcoming: Bridge to Terabithia Jim Thorpe The Dark is Rising Nim's Island Also, be sure to check WaldenMedia.com --- This is the great group of movie makers that are taking those wonderful books and making them into movies for kids---I love their movies, but it can be a problem for teachers with those kids who don't read and then pass tests. ~Shonda Shonda Brisco, MLIS Library Media Specialist Arlington ISD Arlington, Texas sbrisco@gmail.com -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
