How do you have your students cite essays from Opposing Viewpoints
series books? We use MLA format, and in the past have had them cite the
essay title, author, and page numbers as well as the book title, editor,
and pub info. However, most of the essays are reprints (and OP does
give the reprint information) and sometimes there are other excerpts
within the essays that are cited. So, how should students cite when
using a portion of an essay that was taken from a third source? I hope
that is all clear. I checked the MLA handbook, but really didn't see an
example of what I needed.

TIA,

Holly :-)
