Patsy, I was just getting to respond, when you said exactly what I wanted to say, and said it so well, so I'll just add my "hear! hear!" to your statement. If we can't/don't take the time to be proactive about our profession and take our profession seriously then we should expect to be misunderstood and underappreciated. Lyn Grund, Librarian Middlesex High School Middlesex, NJ lcgrund@yahoo.com I thought LM_Net was a listserv for librarians and others in the library profession, who would understand that, despite the fact that we have too LITTLE time to get it all done, it is important sometimes to take a moment to engage in the sort of philosophical (and / or practical) discussions that serve to improve the profession for ALL of us, as well as serve as a support system in a career that can be isolating. My two cents. Patsy McLaughlin Librarian Technology Integration Mentor (TIM) Spring I.S.D. Bammel Middle School --------------------------------- Yahoo!
