Does anyone know what it's called when a writer uses the words to tell their meaning. For example: Himalayas or Alps would be written on a slant to look like a mountain. or han/ging where han is on one line and the ging is actually dangling below it. I am drawing a blank as to what these types of words are called. Thank you. Wendy S.
