Hi all -
I am looking for articles/evidence that supports using the following titles
in the high school English curriculum. There is a meeting scheduled with a
parent group to discuss the use of these titles and we would like to have
some supporting literature on hand in case it is needed.
Ellen Foster by Kaye Gibbons
The Chosen by Chaim Potok
The Chocolate War by Robert Cormier
The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd
Nectar in a Sieve by Kamala Markandaya
The Things They Carried by Tim O'Brien
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kesey
