[LM_NET] SHARE: I Am Loved Buttons

Okay....I'm on it this year!!  If you have NOT yet ordered your FREE "I Am Loved" 
buttons for Valentine's Day this year, then now is the time to do it!!  For those 
of you who have not seen this website, Helzberg Diamonds offers free buttons that 
say, "I Am Loved" in nine different languages-- English, French, Spanish, Japanese, 
German, Russian, Italian, Polish and Hebrew.

I have used these with different groups in schools and share them in the library on 
Valentine's Day--- the buttons are red with white lettering.  The kids love to 
collect them---and if you have a multicultural group / diversity club on campus, 
these are great to share with those groups--- our group is called "The Culture 
Club."

Although you can take a form from the website to a Helzberg Diamond store, I have 
had the best results from just sending a letter (letterhead with school's name on 
it) to the company asking for the specific buttons (with numbers for each language 
listed) and a description of how I will use the buttons with my students.

My experience has been that these directions work best:  (from the website)

If you would like more than 100 buttons, send a written request on your 
organization's letterhead to: I Am LovedŽ Program, 1825 Swift, North Kansas City, 
MO 64116. Include your name, address, phone number and number of buttons per 
language you wish to request. Also include the intended use for the buttons. 
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept any requests that do not include all of the 
information requested.

The buttons usually arrive in two to three weeks...so now is the time to send in 
your requests!
