I have not joined in on this discussion yet, although you have all made
me HUNGRY with your suggestions. However, today I have the lunch of the
year, and I just have to brag! Last night I went out with friends to
celebrate my birthday belatedly. We went to Applebee's, a chain of
restaurant in Texas (maybe every where?) and had a steak topped with
grilled shrimp and Parmesan cheese. It came with a side of garlic
mashed potatoes, corn and garlic bread. Also as a special they have an
appetizer that is included and I had the spinach artichoke dip. To
complete the meal I had a brownie cake and ice cream. The best part of
the deal is that I had over half of it left! Now of course I HAD to eat
all the dessert right then so the ice cream wouldn't melt!!! So my
lunch for today will be the most awesome leftovers ever!!!

I am enjoying reading these very much, mostly because we are still on

vacation! <grin> I am not crazy about lettuce so I like to make what
I call a
Bulgarian/Greek salad.
Chop the following
Cucumber
Tomato
Green pepper
Add
Feta Cheese
Black Olives

I usually make a big salad and eat some for dinner one night and take
the
rest to school for a couple of days. Dress it as you like. I am
quite fond of
a Greek vinaigrette that I found recently in my local market. Enjoy!
