I have to weigh in on the lunches. For the last umpteen years I've taken
unflavored regular yogurt in a Tupperware container that I fill for the
week on a Sunday night or afternoon. I add fresh fruit and veggies that
can be dipped in the yogurt. If I feel the need I add an herb--dill,
mint, Italian, French or a special seasoning mix my chef brother sends to
me for a rub on veggies and chicken, etc. When I want a treat, or change,
I buy Stoney Farm chocolate yogurt--good with bananas and oranges. Stoney
Farm is better than the old Dannon chocolate or Yoplait which is
air-whipped. I don't do soda or sweets from the machines, but I've rarely
said "no" to a potato chip. Come to think of it, I've used the yogurt as
a dip for them too.
Seriously, you can strain yogurt overnight and add herbs and it make a
great cheese. We discovered that while in Turkey.
