I apologize for the cross posting to LM-NET and OEMA. I will be interviewing where a librarian is in charge of 3-5 schools (2 different interviews). I have done 2 schools, but not multiple large schools at the same time. What I would like to know: 1. How was your time divided between the schools? 2. What duties did you most often do while at the school? (The archives say "mostly administrative duties" but nothing specific.) 3. What library programs did you run? 4. What advice (other than to run away and not do it) would you give to a librarian? 5. How did you collaborate with the teachers? 6. What information should one know from the principals? 7. What else should someone thinking about doing this know? What self expectations, school expectations, or administrative expedtations? 8. What print or electronic resources would be your best sources for sanity? I have been through the archives. There were several postings over the years on the topic of a librarian in charge of multiple schools. The information was not very specific. Mostly along the lines of don't expect to be SUPERLIBRARIAN and try and do it all. I know there will be a great variety of experiences as school districts are each ran differently.
