My sister-in-law saw an animal about 8 a.m. this week near a creek and stock tank in central TX . Her first impression was of a giant sloth walking (lumbering?) along. It had a very long tail with hair hanging down off of it. There were no rings. This animal was the size of a large dog. When it turned and looked at her it's face had a mask but it wasn't as distinctive as that of a raccoon. 5 adults saw this animal and couldn't agree on what it could be. Do you have suggestions? Have you seen anything like this? This mystery is keeping her awake at night. lol Thanks for your help. Sandra Carswell, Librarian S.C.
