My daughter has just gotten her first post-PhD position at a university as a
visiting associate professor and will be teaching a required course in life
sciences for non-science major educators. Course content is no problem, but
she has asked me to tap your collective wisdom for any great (or good)
materials, books, periodicals, or references in the life sciences for ANY
grade level. She would like to spend a week of the course introducing them
to and having them acquire hands-on experience with as many actual support
materials as she can get that they can use in their classrooms and
LIBRARIES, and actively promoting collaboration with their school (or
public) librarians!

Of course I have some suggestions for her, but any suggestions you can
forward to me are definitely needed. I will post suggestions received as a
HIT. She is, by the way, in Indiana.

Thank you in advance.
