In case anyone was wondering . . . Here's how _Outcasts of 19 Schuyler Place_ and _Silent to the Bone_ are companion books: Its a prequel of sorts- the grown up Margaret, half sister to Connor, the boy telling the story about his friend Branwell, is the child Margaret who spends a summer with the uncles at Schulyer Place Outcasts is really a prequel to Silent to the Bone. It focuses in on Margaret, the older sister in Silent, when she was younger...about 12 or 13. Margaret is a character in both but in one she's a child and in the other an adult so it's easy to miss. Thanks to all of your quick responses! This list is amazing! Robin Shtulman, Librarian Erving Elementary School 28 Northfield Rd.
