The spring/summer issue of Educators' Spotlight Digest, a free, online magazine devoted to shining the spotlight on excellence in information literacy instruction, is now available online at http://www.sosspotlight.org This exciting issue contains an article by guest writers Annette Lamb and Larry Johnson on ways to stimulate and support students' curiosity and inquiry, tips by Sharon Coatney on how to publish your great teaching ideas, motivational IL teaching strategies by a variety of school and academic librarians, a brand new column for teaching IL skills in higher education, and a feature story specifically timed to coincide with that time of year when we pay special tribute to our veterans. The latter features a library media director from the Chicago area who takes students on a journey in which they become active historians, while contributing to a national history project. For these stories and more, we invite you to read the newest issue of ESD, a publication of S.O.S. for Information Literacy, funded by the Institute of Museum & Library Services in collaboration with AASL and Syracuse University's Center for Digital Literacy. If you would like to contribute an article or your favorite teaching strategies, please contact Marilyn Arnone, Ph.D., Editor at mparnone@syr.edu Ruth V. Small, Ph.D. Laura J. and L.
