My middle school library owns a copy of Son of the Mob, which SLJ rated 7-9th grade and Bklist rated 6-8th grade. I have read it and I think it's fine for my school. The sequel, Hollywood Hustle is rated 9-up and 9-12 by the same publications. How does the sequel compare in regards to content appropriateness for middle school? If you have read it, would you recommend purchase, since I already own the first? Or is it more young adult than the first novel?
