Hello, I am new to this list. Actually, I was a member for a brief time while in graduate school since it was required for a class. I was a librarian in an academic library for 3 years and am moving to an elementary school (K-5) in August. I have a couple of requests from anyone who would be willing share. 1. The county in which I will be working does not have a library curriculum. I feel like I need some guidelines for what to teach at different grade levels, including basic computer skills. Does anyone have a curriculum and/or lesson plans they would be willing to share? 2. I'm also concerned about discipline in the library. Does anyone have a list of rules they introduce at the first of the year and/or tips on disciplinary matters that they would be willing to share? Thanks in advance to anyone who is willing to give advice and/or share materials. -- Melissa Byrd Soon-to-be Elementary Librarian, Jacksboro Elementary Jacksboro, TN -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
